Food pantry

The Food Pantry is available to the LGBTQIA+ community, the City of Richmond community, or by emergency referral. LGBTQIA+ clients can access our food pantry via our office ( 1603 Santa Rosa Rd, Ste. 101, Henrico, VA 23229) Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM The General Public an access the pantry on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

Please help us combat hunger by donating canned food items or hosting food drives. We accept donations Monday through Friday from 11AM to 6PM.

Testing services

Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM, Nationz provides free rapid HIV testing to the Greater Richmond area. The test is performed in a comfortable environment and takes less than 2 minutes. Results are available in 20 minutes.

Club/Street Outreach

Nationz Foundation actively conducts club and street outreach in the community. The purpose of this outreach is to create awareness of the agency and distribute information. We have partnered with Club Colours, Godfrey's, Babes of Carytown, and Fallout to reach individuals who may be at risk. During these outreach events, we distribute educational materials, condoms, and safer sex items to educate and empower the community.

MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS

Join Nationz Foundation every 1st and 3rd Monday night from 6PM to 9PM, to help build unity in the community through safe fellowship.

HIV testing and refreshments will be available, as well as the food pantry. Come out for Monday Night Madness and don't forget to spread the word!

T-gurlz rock

T-Gurlz Rock is a support group for women of transgender experience held each Thursday 7PM to 9PM.

Aim To Inspire Project

The Aim To Inspire Project is a program funded by the generosity of Diversity Richmond. This program provides emergency housing assistance to the LGBTQ community and transportation for medical appointments or supportive services.

New Beginnings

A client-centered, open peer discussion group for individuals seeking support around their HIV diagnosis. Starting April 4, 2023, New Beginnings meets virtually every other Tuesday 6PM to 8PM.

The only requirement to participate is that you must be an individual living with HIV. Disclosure of participant's identity is optional and is not required to participate.

The Nationz Mobile Testing Unit & Food Pantry

Thanks to support from The Laughing Gull Foundation, Nationz Foundation was able to fulfill a long-time dream of purchasing an RV for a mobile testing unit and food pantry.

Our mobile unit, affectionately named "Deloris" after our executive director's late grandmother, will allow our team to bring sex education and health materials, free HIV tests, and a food pantry to the greater Richmond area! Please reach out to us if you are interested in Dolores & our team visiting your community or event!

Computer Lab

Nationz Foundation is pleased to provide a space for our community to work on resumes, find job listings, write emails, do research, or just hang out and use our wifi. The computer lab is available during our regular office hours, 11AM to 6PM Monday through Friday. The computer lab is also available during Monday Madness every 1st and 3rd Monday Night from 6PM to 9PM.

A Support Group for Non-Binary, Gender Non Conforming and Questioning Trans Folx!

PrEP Clinic

PrEP Clinic is for people who do not have HIV and want added protection. A daily pill must be taken everyday like birth control but for HIV prevention. When taken as prescribed PrEP is highly effective in preventing HIV. We see insured and uninsured patients. Please call to schedule an appointment or for more information.

Text Line service

Nationz Foundation provides a text line service to residents in the Chesterfield, Henrico, and Richmond areas. Clients can text 804-999-1440 to have condoms, lubricants, safer sex items, and HIV testing delivered directly them. This service is available Monday through Friday, 11AM to 5PM.
